WRONG! A $10,000 limit for Congress would not limit candidacy to the rich.
Any middle class person who REALLY wants to can come up with that much money from his own pocket. It is less than a new car, after all.
For the Presidency, I think that $100,000 is not too restrictive. Name ONE poor guy who has run for president in the last half-century. Even $100,000 is within the reach of the upper middle class, if somebody is willing to mortgage his home for the funds.
