There are several prerequisites for something like that.
First, the perps (Conservatives) have to have a conscience.
Next, they have to be able to admit they were wrong.
Third, there has to be a sense that they are responsible.
And fourth, they have to admit to being accountable to something other than ideology.
As I said, I haven't seen one on the national scene who could qualify. I'd include "our" Conservatives, too, but that would belong on Flame.
