You know me, I reject the supernatural...
But I consider the human mind to be so astonishing to be "super-natural."
It can calculate the arc of a ball to an astonishing degree. With juggling, once you learn it, you only need to see the tiniest part of the arc of a ball to know where it will go. Just that upper part of the arc. Really good jugglers (not me) calculate the arcs of seven or more objects at the same time. They know where that ball is going to land when it leaves their hand.
As far as the flash of insight, Buckminster Fuller called that something like informed intuition. You've shoved so much knowledge into your head that your mind can make connections in an instant when needed. Or when relaxed, and, again, letting go. I've had some great solutions to problems come to mind while soaking in a tub.
