Hitler was successful at this, but driving the emotion...the emotion of "perfection" into a patriotic fervor. People ARE easily led; like mass hypnosis. That's pretty scary stuff for someone like me....an independent thinker who carries few loyalties and even less religion. It's like trying to fit a round peg into a square hole; just ain't gonna fit.

The time is coming when we need to "blur the lines" a bit. Our nation's patriots have sent over a million and half men to fight in the Middle East FOR WHAT?? And even longer than we were involved with WWII, and at greater cost.
No one wants to address the damage....to our economy, to our young men and even the impact this is having on the world.
Nope, the Editor of Newsweek just brought out the idea we need DICK CHENEY for President in 2012, because of the love he has for his "country". (Honestly folks, it has nothing to do with his bank accounts, his power or his bulging testicles). And, after another 3 years of lukewarm Obama, we might just get the power duo of Cheney and Palin.

If this should happen, I will never make another post because no one will have a voice. Consider your patriotism strapped to your armband and printed across your forehead. 😮
