I don't know anything about that particular infection, so I didn't want to waste your time. It sounds pretty generic, that redirecting-the-search-engine trick has been around for a long time.
I'm familiar with GotoMeeting (gotowebmeeting.com is a variant address), and AFAIK they're a reputable outfit. Before I started building my own online meeting rooms, I experimented with them and a few other companies, and didn't contract any infections. It's possible that it's just a coincidence in timing, with a false-positive from your virus scanner for comic relief. New program installations often look like a virus attack, and really, what distinguishes them is intent, and your virus scanner can't read minds, you know.
So, I wouldn't waste much time working the problem from the GotoMeeting end. Try looking for a generic malware scanner that'll knock out the search engine hijacking, regardless of where it came from.
