Nothing short of a well-enforced ban on ALL campaign contributions will help solve the problem of political graft in this country.
Don't worry about the insurers. The FORCED market will make them all richer than they already are, at least those more competent than AIG. I worked with AIG indirectly as a consultant, and I have never met a bigger bunch of idiots in my entire life. AIG is not a huge insurance company, it is a hodgepodge of unassimilated, unintegrated, medium sized insurance companies run by Moe, Larry and Curly wearing suits.
