Certainly TRUE. The problem is that the Republicans have not made any serious attempt to deal with health care since Richard Nixon proposed a national health care system and it was shot down by none other than Ted Kennedy.
If Bush had many any attempt to do it in a different way, we would not be stuck with ObamaCare now. The Republicans have been ignoring the problem since Nixon. The Democrats at least realized that SOMETHING must be done.
Perhaps the bad system that they are implementing may improve. That may just be wishful thinking. But the Republicans blew it by total inaction.
