While you're on your crusade against profits, keep in mind that profit is the difference between income and expenses for a business. I speak as someone who fills out a Schedule C every year.
Profit is what I pay taxes on. Same for every other business. Eliminate profit in one industry after another, eliminate the rich, and you might not like the government revenue stream after a while. Already we're seeing the revenue results of an administration that has declared war on wealth, war on capitalism, and war on profits.
But hey, we can keep borrowing, right?
