Everything that's going on right now is ALL about the next election. There would be no "Occupy Wall Street" if Obama wasn't dying in the polls and the Republicans running the House (and a lot more state houses than they were in 2009). Think a minute. Were the damn bankers doing one thing differently in the two years when the Democrats ran everything?
And if the Democrats weren't being hoisted high on the petard of the actual Voice of the People at the polling booths, do you think we'd be getting all these wistful fantasies about how we could get past all this "partisan" stuff by simply ceding parts of the country to the "civilized" people? What happened to the liberals who squalled in indignation when Rick Perry even implied something along those lines?
