Personally, it's gotten to the point where I don't care that much about american politics at all anymore. It just seems the guy with the flashiest adds and the most money, and the radical (but not TOO radical) point of view gets elected to office by a crazed mob of fanboys who will promptly switch allegiance after a year or two. Plus, with all the lies they live, it seems more like a crappy sitcom than the choosing of who will lead us into the future. *Sigh*
I'd wish for the good old days, but something tells me they never really were there.

@TB: Oh, I beg to differ. During the election one kid at my middle school, despite the past 4 years of hell we had from the guy, took to writing B U S H on his fingers and going around saying "Bush is the best! In the US!" (This is the point where he would lift his index and pinky finger up, as if he was rocking out.)
