...because so many of my friends have small children. I have found that in order to get someone to understand this kind of absurdity, I try to educate people in terms that would affect them.

I had seven comments within ten minutes !!! I will let the replies speak for themselves.

1)"Always have I find someone else to blame. It isn't mcdonalds making our kids fat. It's parents making poor choices."
2)I'm just so glad that the State of California is running so smoothly, that in their spare time they have taken on the task of raising our children too. GEEZ! Mind your business and let me mind mine!
3)It may be parents making poor choices but I sure as hell don't want the government making those choices for us!
4)Truly sad that there are actually people in this country that WANT Big Brother to do their thinking for them. Get use to it, cuz that seems to be the direction we are heading in!
5)It is pretty bad when the government has nothing better to do than to tell us what we can or can't eat. My gosh are we all so stupid that we can't make any choices for ourselves!!??
6)I agree. I don't want the government making those choices for us. Unfortunately, some people don't seem to realize they have to take responsibility for themselves and quit expecting the government to take care of them!

7)I asked my wife what she wanted for her birthday. She said she wanted a "boy toy". I spun through McDonald's drive through and got her a boys Happy Meal !
