I've explained in at least three posts so far what the memes are the Left will be trying to sell America in the next year or two. In fact, the same ones they were trying to sell unsuccessfully before the election. These are red herrings designed to obscure the real fundamental differences between a free society and a statist one. I've noticed other recent posts in the same category.
Christopher Barron even pointed this out specifically in the article: "The Tony Perkinses of the world are trying to rewrite history to make this about those issues." Although of course, Perkins's motivations are different from NPR's.
The last thing the socialists want America to think is that the conservative uprising was about socialism.
