Yeah, I read your post. Two things came to mind:
First, I don't give a crap about the poll. There are movers and shakers within any group, the Tea Party included, despite their claim that they harbor no movers and shakers. And when those people start saying things like "you can't be a fiscal conservative without being a social conservative," it could have a big influence on the future of the Party.
Second, if the Party can't take some heat, it should have taken up knitting.
