^If the solution is to stop logging to protect their "natural habitat", I'd say it has something to do with the environmental movement.^
That's ILLEGAL logging.
^The romantic aspect of a reclusive lost tribe appeals to me too but these people are not some kind of Zoo animals to be kept for our viewing pleasure.^
Zoo animals is exactly how they would be treated if the ILLEGAL loggers had their way. They'd probably shoot them to get them out of the way. Poachers are poachers, whether it's animals or trees and they'll do anything for their profit including genocide. The whole point is, I don't want to view them or anything else. I want to leave them alone unless they choose the contact. How would they cope with modern society? They'd be totally lost.
