"Your parameters for discussion on this topic are quite restrictive...".
I presume you mean you can't comment on any of my questions without relying on Freudian and Jungian conjectures and hypotheses as to the nature and causes of dreams. Well, I guess that's right. But look at it from my point of view, once you decide that dreams "mean something", that analysis of their content reveals something about the dreamer, not only are you making a totally unwarranted and unsupported assumption but you are assuming that that we have viable knowledge of how dream content relates to psychological state. Even if the first assumption is true, it doesn't mean the second holds as well. Dreaming about snakes doesn't mean I'm horny. I know when I'm horny, I don't need dreams to tell me that. Dreaming about snakes may not mean anything. Besides, I never dream about snakes. That's why I KNOW it doesn't have anything to do with horny.
As for your other comments, you may be correct to think my retirement has something to do with my dream patterns. Then again, maybe its my age, or quitting smoking, or something I haven't even considered as relevant. That's why I brought it up, to see if you guys had experienced similar circumstances.
