It's the people who have multiple mansions spread out over the globe, limozines to drive them across town, and private jets to fly them to whatever exotic destination they want to vacation at this week. It's the people who think they are so much more deserving than the filthy unwashed masses who want to improve their own lives.

These later day aristocrats already have their fortunes made, and are simply wishing to cut off the spigot to anyone else who would dare show them up. Their limos don't look so fancy when parked next to a fully loaded hummer driven by the baseball mom from the surburbs. Their mansions aren't as grand when many people can afford a nice 3,500 sq ft Mcmansion.

It's all about putting the commoners in their place. Making them drive yugos and live in 500 sq ft sheds all the while the Gores, Soros, Kennedys, and all the other lords live the high life in style.
