Welcome back, Marcia. I trust all is well?
* Thanks, Dan. Yes, we're ok. Doing our best.
Mary Anne included a farewell address in E'telekeli's thread, stating increased animosity on the boards in general was simply too much at the present time, and E' was going on about open rudeness in certain posts.
* Hmm, animosity... that's to be expected on the net. I hesitated for about a year to use the net. I kept comparing it with real life, 3D situations and decided to surf sites with topics that I was already insterested in.
Unsure if either will return.
* I hope they return. I've learned much from both of them. Mary Anne's literal and liberal sense was refreshing and E's viewpoint of the world and humanity in general coupled with his knowledge of both was/is inspiring. I still appreciate having known them both. As conservative as I am, I'm also a bit of a liberal in the sense that it keeps my eyes open and peeled.
I've said it many times already, but the BBS world is an unforgiving one. Once written, and post is there for the world to judge. Here, if you're fast enough -- and a moderator is anywhere near the PC -- you "might" be able to hide a blurted foible.
Dan
* I know. We shouldn't be too quick to judge or act... It's a waste of time and energy. I like to appreciate the good we all have in common and respect that of which we don't. Truth and goodness prevails... always will. I don't believe in insulting people or use four letter words to get a point accross (unless that's what someone wants). :)
Sorry, I'll stop being mushy now.
Marcia
