The black condition
Certain sectors of the black "leadership" blame every bad thing that ever happens in the black community on slavery.
What is interesting about this theory is that almost every important statistic on life values: intact families, crime, employment, education levels, etc. gets progressively worse as time goes on, i.e. the further we get from slavery.
This lends credibility to the idea that maybe the lousy statistics have to do with something besides slavery. Maybe the welfare state, to offer only one possible alternative?
