No coward - perhaps something more constructive?

Make that: Perhaps *anything* more constructive than accusing E' of 'slinking away' and being a 'coward' would be helpful?

You know better than that. Please try to remember all the other things he has posted here besides what you call his 'snotgram.' E' has defended his ideas with clarity and conviction in the past. He is no coward.

It's not fear or a craven spirit that has driven E' from Habitable Zone. It's anger derived from an offense against his personal sense of justice. He's angry at how he perceives a friend to have been treated. When his friend's capacity to bear this mistreatment is exceeded and she leaves because she is indignant at perceived insults she has sustained - called 'banana cream pies' around here - he does not stand idly by. *That* would be the act of a coward.

Instead, E' chose to tell those he felt were responsible exactly what he thought of them. He felt by staying he would be in essence condoning their actions, choosing to overlook their abuses. So he has done what in his opinion is the honorable thing and left.

E' likes this site. That's why he's spent so much time here. Space is one of his top interests. It's not easy for him to leave. He's neither weak nor a coward.

He left because he thought it was the right thing to do. Whether you agree with him or his principles or not, perhaps you can at least respect that. He's not here precisely because of the strength of his convictions.
