I don't think you have a case to rest, Tom. I told you, I don't think all conservatives are stupid or uneducated, but I have met a lot of stupid and uneducated people who are conservatives!

As for bush,
Its frankly impossible to under-estimate the intellect of Bush. Just listen to the man! To appear as an idiot to the entire world- to the point that even *British* Conservatives denounce him as such in parliment and urge that he not be supported, is not the political strategy of a smart fellow. The series of really STUPID utterances goes back to his first entry into politics, back in Texas.

This argument, that Bush is manipulating people by making them believe he is dumb is like Briar Rabbit trying to talk his way out of a bind and into a pneumatic steel press!

If this is his strategy, it is working, he is the laughing stock of global politics, and as a result- so is our Nation...
