Those guys just don't want to be "liberated", do they?

It seems clear.

Those pesky Iraqis don’t want to be “liberated”, GWB style. I mean, no one can claim that anymore, can they?

And there can be no more military targets in Baghdad. The US has had unlimited bombing for 11 days and nights, has thrown everything in there including B-52s, and there can’t be anything left with ANY military significance. Except civilians, that is.

But they’re still bombing Baghdad. With B-1s, B-2s and that great precision bomber, the B-52.

So, what are they bombing? In Baghdad? That’s “military”. The homes of “suspected militants”, I suppose. I don’t know. In fact, I don’t believe they still have any viable military targets there.

Take the mightiest Air Force in the world, and have it bomb the “military” targets in an American or British metropolis of 5 million. How long would it take American and British fighter-bombers and bombers, flying unopposed, with the “cheery-ho’s” of the Australians ringing in their ears, to flatten every barrack, every flagpole, every Humvee? 11 days?

Nope.

Now, as far as hiding military assets in residential neighborhoods. A couple of thoughts come to mind. AA batteries have to be located SOMEWHERE NEAR WHERE AIRPLANES FLY. And – but I digress. There is no AA fire coming from Baghdad. The planes are unopposed.

Second. As I’ve pointed out before, the three nearest Army Reserve Centers to me are ALL in residential neighborhoods. I don’t believe the Army hid them there to force someone to also inflict civilian casualties,

Well, it’s curious. They’re still bombing Baghdad, military targets, in order to “liberate” the Iraqis.

And GWB choked on a pretzel.
