You reallly think that Sadaam was packing his bags, looked at protests on TV and said "Ya know, this will make that quarter-million strong army on my doorstep just go away. Maybe Chirac will convince Bush and the UN after all. Honey, scatch that note for the milkman, we're staying!"
That's a whole heap of steaming dung, merely used to further denigrate protestors and justify your pro-war position.
