This image is more severe than the point I wanted to make.

If we think of this in natural selection terms most who rose up in 91' are now dead. It hasn't been quite a generation since then and the 'survivors' are in a much worse condition to be able to effect something like that.

Saddam has had plenty of time to morf from mini-Stalin-wannabe to super-mini-Stalin-wannabe with improved internal security special RepubGuard with revolt smashing kung-fu grip.

It's gonna have to be us, wading through the terrifed huddled masses of Baghdad.

Just a bad situation....
