Homeschooled

I actually did homeschool from 7th grade on til college. I never got a GED. :) I am an official highschool drop out. If you are motivated that is the way to go... our highschools teach you about enough to qualify you to pump gas, or ask "you want fries with that?". To learn what is really usefull you have to go to college. I have spent longer in the universities than I would have liked, and to be honest if I had known what going for a PhD would entail I would have seriously thought about stopping at a masters. But it does seem to be paying off (finally) and I do not regret the time it cost-(11 years of university).

Most parents who homeschool their kids shouldn't. I saw lots of religious nuts really destroying their kids futures by giving them a "godly" education. If you do it for the right reasons and are VERY motivated the best thing you can do is drop out of highschool and start college asap.

my 2 cents
