This is the guy who got tarred, feathered, and ridden out of town on a rail by not only Democrats, but a number of Republicans. Later, Bill Clinton strode off to a waiting aircraft to the tune of a brass band and the salutes of the military that he loathed. The only thing missing was the hordes of dancing virgins strewing flowers in his path (and that was only because it would have been like dragging raw steak in front of a starving hyena.)
The Republican Party was far better off with Newt in the House drivers seat than with...with...damn. Forgot the name again. This speech is only one small example of the sorts of things I have been reading for years on many subjects from this intelligent man. None of which you will ever see from the mainstream media.
