This is truly interesting. The things you learn about an organization from outsiders.... I'm Chairman of the Board of the Space Frontier Foundation, and I didn't know that all this weas going on ...

I hadn't realized that Keith Cowing was a part of our Secret Plot to take over much of anything. (Hi, Keith). I've always considered Keith an independent; he's certainly never sat in on Board meetings, telecons, or strategy sessions ...

As for Mars, well, the Foundation is about human settlement of the solar system. So we have an interest in Mars. We have a mildly different take on it than the Mars Society does. We're trying to expand our influence within the Mars community - along with the lunar community, the asteroid community, and the space advocacy community in general. We try to expand our influence by doing good work - we don't need to attack Zubrin. He tries his way, we try ours, and between us (and others), something is bound to work - hopefully sooner rather than later.
