gb is on target.
It was a major mistake and unfortunately characteristic of Zubrin's seriously flawed leadership personality to launch out on this tangent. While I somewhat agree about his thesis regarding Muslim history, it hurts the Mars Exploration goal to have the leader pontificicating on yet another controversial issue, one which I do not feel is directly relevant and one that is best addressed elsewhere.
