Sounds like years of bad NASA management are coming back to haught them
They've grossly mismanaged the ISS for years with huge overruns. These cuts have to come from somewhere. There doesn't seem to be a lot of support in the country or in Congress to make any substancial increase in the NASA budget. So, if we're going to keep the ISS, and there doesn't seem to be any way to get around that albatross, then other missions are going to suffer. Damned shame but that's reality for you.
