<you're right.
They never stopped bashing Gore (I still think Triana was a good idea)
I still think it was incredibly stupid, and posted not to long ago a link that showed the sunlit side of earth constantly a while ago, did you not take interestest? did you not care? it was what Gore wanted. I guess without his name on it being laucnhed by a shuttle when it didn't need to be, beinglaunch right before election, and as they trie, launched on a showgirl astronaut crew no one cares hu?
who did show some interest in the space program (for instance with Mars Pathfinder)
yeagh like that way he mannaged it for 8 years and we see what great shape it is in. his mismanagement is causing it to eat itself alive.
and believed Bush, coming from Texas (with the JSC) and his brother from Florida (the KSC), and his father wanting to go to Mars, there obviously would be great support for the space program. Well...I wonder what we'll think in 10 years.
I'll tell you what I think right now: you don't buy presents and candy for a spoiled littel brat thats been atrociously naughty. Likewise, NASA is a product of its own self destructive management. If you fund it then the 'pure evil' and scandelous management pays off, if you stand firm and don't apease it then they loose. Unfortunately we've had some pretty rotten appels in NASA management, and they are reaping thier jsut deserts, woe to us who also suffer. What I hold to bush to do is to fix it. Goldin is out, that is step one.
Anyway, I remember the Apollo era and nobody can take that away from us.
Well I don't. And europa mission or not, we aren't doing anything as good until we give NASA an ass wooping it will never forget. God forbid but when the old people are gone and I'm old. . . and no one has set foot on another planet. . . tiems will really suck. with NASA as it is we aren't going anywhere.
Furthermore I could give a rats ass about plutos atmosphere. Europa maybe, but can't we move faster and instead of a lame ass orbiter go with a lander as well? wheres the drive people? I am not shedding any tears.
we need to stand firm, and show the current management that these type of practices will not get repayed, they will cause scandal and force resignations, (I wish they would cause jail time for gross misuse of my money) and hopefull prompt mass restructuring.
