you're right.
They never stopped bashing Gore (I still think Triana was a good idea) who did show some interest in the space program (for instance with Mars Pathfinder) and believed Bush, coming from Texas (with the JSC) and his brother from Florida (the KSC), and his father wanting to go to Mars, there obviously would be great support for the space program. Well...I wonder what we'll think in 10 years. Anyway, I remember the Apollo era and nobody can take that away from us.
