Re: S&M wrong on the facts yet again

"- A consumables factory will then be sent, ahead of the manned vehicle, with a seed quantity of hydrogen. It will land, hook up to the nuclear power plant, and begin condensing water, oxygen, nitrogen, and methane out of the martian atmosphere. These supplies will be stored in tanks. It will take about 1 year, but when those tanks are full the manned mission will launch from Earth.

You might want to do some reading about Mars before posting utter nonsense.
But then why change?
There is no nitrogen to be condensed out of Mars' atmosphere. It's CO2 with some traces of argon. The hydrogen seed needs to react with the CO2 which is what is condensed out of the Martian atmosphere. That way methane if needed, can be produced.
The amount of water that even a nuke could condense out of Mars' atmosphere is negligible"

"Mars has a very thin atmosphere composed mostly of the tiny amount of remaining carbon dioxide (95.3%) plus nitrogen (2.7%), argon (1.6%) and traces of oxygen (0.15%) and water (0.03%). "
