The trouble is even educated people are having trouble understanding the technical side. Myself, for example, made an enormous error predicting the size of an orbiting greenhouse, and so my Starship Generations website is no more. A major difficulty with NASA is that they are trying to get so many countries to join in, and there is no single comprehensive database where people can visit and understand the whole thing. What good is it if I have to go to Italy or France to get information on some aspect. If China and Japan and Germany and Russia can all launch things into space on their own, why can't Canada and USA?

I understand Canada has a launch facility in Churchill, Manitoba.... rusting away. We've since contracted everything out.
