Ed has had the downside of Lunar vs. Lagrange optical observatories explained to him on this bbs 3 times already. Ed is not amenable to learning new facts.
Lunar dust and problems with no solar power for 2 weeks were other "issues" regarding Lunar observatories besides the cost and all sky advantage of L points. Ed just goes ballistic if anyone mentions Mars.
