True. And I have the sincere opinion that AKs are vicious weapons, well suited for what they do.
But even with AKs, no one can stop an invasion, nor will they prevent an occupation. They may make life a bit uncomfortable for an occupying force, but they won't change the outcome.
Imagine the Normandy invasion fought against AKs and snipers. Or any of the invasions in the Pacific.
