I think President Bush has made a prudent, thoughtful policy on this

And he made it on a timely basis.
This is something that will become a reality in our lifetimes; it is profoundly new and a tough perspective, upsetting a lot of traditional thought. Using current embryos will allow time for both research and public opinion to grow towards a realistic decision.
