I am being somewhat fecitious read sacrfed as 'special'

when I say 'Sacred'. . Imagine me making sarcastic quoting marks with my fingers.

If man is sacred, why does he take medications (something very pallatable) or wants to get better or avoid sufferance?

I don't understand what you are saying Raoul. I was demostrating that we treat humans, ANY human with inalienable rights. Regardless of thier state of mind of physical well being etc. . .

on an interesting point, by common laws, humans are allowed to do anything, like take certain drugs or medications to better their lives, however, they may not to this at the expense of the well-being of others. take for example alcohol and the drunk driving laws.

I removed all notion of sacredness concerning man.

Raoul, do you extend human rights to pigs or cows? I seriously doubt it, but do correct me if I am wrong. If you are like everyone else, you treat humans differently, you can do things like chemical testing on animals that is just not ok to do on humans. I call this value sacred, not bearing any religious conotation. However you seem to be subcscribing such a conotation to it, so lets use the word 'special'.

As long as he has the right to dignity and respect, it's allright.
Humans are all weak and strong (together) in different aspects of their lives. That's why I despise those who claim some are loosers, because they are winners somewhere too. Man is very complex and part of what we are is not only through what happened at birth or before, but also through our parents, our friends, our everyday life experience, events occuring far away, etc.

great Raoul, I agree. We treat each other with rights and respect, regardless of weakness and strength. This is what I based my previous argument on. You might want to re-read it, it was a little wordy.
