Can't you make a point without exagertion?

In much the same way as many other advocacy organizations with proud histories have fallen to them in recent years. Most of the environmental movement is now a refuge for lost socialists and outright nihilists.

Most??? There may be a few freakos on the fringes of any movement but MOST environmentalists are everyday people who care about the environment.

who is defending a woman who drowned her five children, enthusiatically defended Bill Clinton when he was accused of rape and was proven to have been diddling an intern in the Oval Office, and firmly believed that Clarence Thomas should have been flayed alive and dragged across the Utah Salt Flats by a team of wild horses for the crime of sexual innuendo around a woman who worked for him.

If NOW is defending Andrea Yates they deserve strong criticisim. The rest of your comments are ridiculous. The 20+ year rape accusation (by a woman who donated money to Clinton AFTER the alleged rape and whose former husband says she is lying) was never subject to cross examination and had not one shred of evidence to prove her accusation. The intern Clinton was "diddling" was consensual and no one's damn business. As for Clarence Thomas, NOW really had no cause to jump on Anita's side as it was a stale charge. I never heard anything about being dragged by wild horses though.
