Good morning, Dan!
Globalization is a concept involving increasingly free movement of money, people, information, technologies, ideas, goods and services around the world at higher speeds and with fewer restrictions, Wilson said.
He said a mouthful! Especially the "people" part. We won't have a truly global economy until labor is as free as capital and means of production are to move around. Workers need to be able to pursue better paying jobs and better living environments, and that includes the service workers and the manual laborers.
It also wonders me that anyone who thinks that restricting freedom of movement will result in protecting freedom in general when the director of the Defense Intelligence Agency realizes that mobility is itself a way to spread ideas and foster change and development. The day we close the borders is the day the terrorists win.
