Every last attacker was of Middle Eastern origin, and this is unlikely to significantly change, unless they start actively recruiting Norwegian Muslims.
Simple common sense indicates closer attention paid to those of Middle Eastern extraction, in particular those who are not citizens or permanent residents, or match other suspicious factors. This does not mean allowing all the others to pass totally unhindered, but our current situation is nuts. I have no problem with the plans to closely track NON-CITIZENS from nations who have been identified as terrorist havens. It is quite likely the next attempt will have nothing to do with airplanes or airports anyway.
In an earlier example, I pointed out that a policeman looking for a criminal Ku Klux Klan member would be considered an idiot if he insisted that fifteen percent of his lineups be black people. Profiling is not wrong if an actual profile exists.
Common sense.
How many people have to die just because Mineta has issues?
