"The average liberal* is mentally unable to construct any view of a conflict wherein the West, or usually specifically America, is not the bad guy. Ever. Thank your local communist college teacher."
What a crock.
"In their view, no act of evil by someone other than America can be judged as such, because there is always a "balancing" act of evil somewhere in American history that officially "negates" such a judgement. Time and context mean nothing in this argument."
In human relations, as well as the physical world, there is a cause and effect. No one commits suicide because they envy your freedom, or SUV.
For instance, the US overthrew the Iranian government and installed the Shah. We trained the SAVAK in repressive measures, including torture. The average Iranian knew that, and when the Shah was overthrown the US was thrown out, and hostages taken.
The US public probably wasn't aware of the CIAs involvement, the Iranian publics hatred. We forgot about it. But, they hate us for a reason. From their point of view, a good reason.
Things don't happen in a vacuum. A very complicated cause and effect and cause.
Another Brosz generalization of liberals attitudes. "We cannot judge terrorists for beheading a reporter because sometime in 1815, some white man cut the head off an Indian."
Where you find this stuff is beyond me. Now, I know I can listen to Rush Limbaugh and understand the freethinking dittoheads. Rush says you don't have to go farther than him to know the truth.
But your source on liberals is seriously flawed.
