etymology

As every etymology expert can tell you "hoser" comes from the movie "Strange Brew" with bob and doug mackenzie!

Sheesh -- take off, eh?

:)
I loved that movie!

etymology CAN be interesting... once did an english paper on finding the origin of the word "hacker"... probably got it wrong but got as far back as 12th century france where it meant a type of horse...

I have been fascinated by the idea of using linguistic cues and dna to determine humans migration through the world...

For instance what we call "mountain" native hawaiians called "Mauna"- kinda similar ... probably a coincidence...
