The Mideast crisis was entirely avoidable

Expansion? Israel would be a lot smaller today if the Arabs had not tried to exterminate them three times. It's amazing how many people gloss over the fact that several Arab nations have collectively tried three times to wipe the nation of Israel out of existence using armed attack. Had Israel not beaten them, the Arabs would have rolled into Israel and exterminated them down to the last child.

Under the circumstances, the idea that Israel somehow "owes" the West Bank to any Arab entity, much less the Palestinians, is ridiculous.

And may I once again point out that the West Bank was under Jordanian control for almost two decades, and nobody heard anything about a "Palestinian State" or "The Palestinian Homeland" from all the noisy leftists back then. Jordan could have given them a state in five minutes flat. Where were the protests then? Where was the screaming about Jordan "occupying" the West Bank, the Great Palestinian Eternal Homeland? Heck, where is the screaming now about Syria occupying Lebanon? When was the last time anyone saw one goddam protest sign about the years-long occupation of the sovereign nation of Lebanon by Syria? Where are the Arabs protesting this? Where are the marches?

This is not about homelands, a state, Palestine, occupation or anything else except a monomaniacal hatred by the Arab world of Israel, the Jews, and the United States by proxy, and if this isn't painfully obvious by now, I don't know how else to get the point across.

The borders of Israel and Palestine as they would be today, if the Arabs had not let their blind hatred get the best of them.
