Okay, support yourself! Why is it that any monkey with a search engine is capable of debunking Al-Qaeda Terrorist ties with Saddam Insane? Does that construct due diligence?
If our intelligence is to rely on armchair surfers, we'd be in deep from the start, and not much of a world leader. Look at France and Germany for examples.
And if our administration claims to have CERTAIN KNOWLEDGE before the UN that Iraq is harboring Weapons of Mass Destruction, but obviously none exist- this is due diligence?</i<>
What's obvious is that no WMD has been found, not that it does not exist.
Iraq either DID or DID NOT have WMD
True.
We either DID or DID NOT have sure knowledge of this
False. We often act upon evidence rather than fact. But that's just another fact.
We either were WRONG OR RIGHT in our justifications for this war
True.
There either WERE OR WERE NOT Saddam-friendly Al-Qaeda linked terrorists in Iraq
True, and the training camps have been located.
We either DID OR DID NOT have sure knowledge of this
False. We often act upon evidence rather than fact. But that's just another fact.
The administrations claim was in the affirmative for all.
The administrations claim was in the affirmative for evidence for all.
Afghanistan was, basically, the perfect war. Brilliantly conducted and entirely justified (not to mention JUST)- to the bone. Iraq was a anti-universe parody. Putting them in the same sentence is like putting Hilbert and Ayn Rand in the same sentence
An opinion, not a fact, but it's yours, and you're welcome to it. As for philosophy, my calling was not missed.
Rise, and feel nourished in my presence. I’ll have more pearls for you to choke on later.
Cheers,
Dan
