What on earth does this have to do with the truth of the matter? Or are you really going to tell me that truth does not matter and majority view is good enough?
Last I checked, I found Polls saying most americans believed in Alien Visitation.
If you think this is a good thing, that most americans believe a proposition that has no evidence at all, and no founsddation in fact. Then I find that distressing
If you think that this is a good thing, because it vindicates your support for this war, then I find that distressing.
If you think that this removes the moral implications of our behavior, then I find that distressing.
