"Contrary to your assertion, senior Administration officials had serious doubts about the forged evidence well before the President's State of the Union address."
(from the portion of Rep. Waxman's letter to Condeleezza Rice previously cited here)
See the part that says "senior Adminstration officials?" Now contrast that fact with your claim that it is only "accepted by those who oppose Bush."
The fact that many people believe or disbelieve anything is no indicator one way or the other of the ultimate truth of the issue in question.
However, when qualified experts such as the CIA, the IAEC, or the UN tell us that the documents cited by Pres. Bush were obvious and poor quality fakes, then I think we can accept these judgements as fact, and make the deduction that the president presented information which was known to be false in order to support his case that Iraq was trying to acquire nuclear material.
In the final analysis, the president and other senior members of his administration presented bogus material to support the case for war on Iraq.
In the rational world, such deceit is called lying.
