Your President, Zubrin, has no respect for forward or back contamination problems between the Earth and Mars and niether do you and the rest of his loyal "followers."

He calls himself a commander and you fall for it. Commander of what? I ask? Of a a plywood silo in the Arctic and Utah desert with a bunch of inmature adults running around in canvas and garbage can lid helmet space suits faking they are on the surface of Mars?! A child can see through this! But for some reason (you on the MS payroll?) you think this is "important research". Cite one paper that says this Mars Society Utah silo is important to Mars research? It's bunk -- a publictiy stunt to sell books, merchandise, memberships etc. Sort of like the Star Trek franchise. I was a Mars Society member remember? I was also charged $350.00 to speak at one of your conventions! All your guest speakers have to pay a fee. Where does all that money go? Plus all the people who come there have to pay to get in. Then there are Zubrin's books lining the halls. You telling me this ain't about money? Bull.

You support the "self-appointed commander of Mars" and his zanny ideas to send droves of humans to Mars so it can be forever contaminated by our microbes so that any further life science studies would be worthless. That is the most vain excuse for human Mars exploration I have ever heard. I am all in favor of sending humans to Mars after Mars has been thoroughly studied by robotic life sciences spacecraft. Only three such spacecraft have ever been sent to Mars: Viking 1 and 2 and Beagle 2.

You and your co-horts have called Dr. Levin and Dr. Straat has-been scientists because they say their Viking biology experiment found microbial life on Mars. You discredit them at every jucture because you know that if there is life on Mars, your vain dream to send humans there will be put off for a least a century.

Confirming that life on Mars exists would be the most incredible impetus for future Mars Exploration ever, maybe not human missions, but certainly lots of rovers and landers. You hate this idea because you have a captain Kirk fantasy

You live and your cohorts in an utter fantasy world. Talking to you is a huge waste of my time, I only do it to expose the crap the media is being fed by you and your cult.
