re: Compassionate Conservative is an Oxymoron

1. No, I would not like to have my health care thru the same service she does; it sucks and she is not getting very good service. I didn't go into the problems with the types of meds available which she couldn't take for various medical reasons and therefore did not get what she needed to lower her glucose.
2. My family offered her all kinds of assistance. My sister (because she worked from home and so was able to be available during the day) drove her to doctors' appointments. I purchased medications for her and gave her a quiet place to stay during the day away from those with whom she was forced to live.
3. What have you done to help someone lately? And how will you answer when asked, "What did you do for someone else out of compassion?" You'll have to answer, "Nothing. I did nothing because I was afraid. Afraid that if I gave I wouldn't have enough. Afraid others were not worthy of receiving. I was selfish. I cared nothing for humanity or my fellow human beings. Caring was beneath me."
4. If you become a victim of circumstances, will you just lay down and die as you seem to expect the unfortunates to do?
5. Yes, perhaps the headline here is redundant. Conservatives, as I always suspected, just don't care.
