I was going by this sentence in your first post on this thread, but on a closer look, the sentence--a bit disjointed--could also be interpreted as Bremer calling them "dead enders." I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on this one.

But are we to belittle the Iraqi person so much that anyone who takes arms against an oiccupying force is a scion of Saddam? A terrorist? A (as bremmer put it this morning) not just a 'saddam dead ender' but a 'Saddam bitter ender' (whatever that means)?

As for "noble intent," I would bet money that if the people shooting at us had their way, Iraq would not end up being a better place. Do you honestly think there are enthusiasts for a tolerant and democratic government among them?

I'm sure that there is a finite mathematical possibility that some Palestinian terrorists actually love Jews and the Jewish religion, but just don't like Israel occupying what they believe to be their homeland. Wouldn't bet a lot of money on it though.
