Say there is one sick and sadistic person out of a thousand who is capable of thinking up such a game and another ten out of a thousand who would purchase it. Say another ten out of that thousand are borderline sheep types - who would buy it if they felt it was socially accceptable or if enough others are seen buying it. Moreso, today, there are another ten-twenty who would not normally ever be aware of it save for the internet.

As the population increases there are simply many more creators and purchasers. The internet also guarantees those extra ten who would not be aware of the others, who can then justify the purchase as well as the other additional 10-20 internet influenced buyers.

The sick and perverted are always among us, as are those who are weak minded and swayed by the lower influences. This was true in 1850, 1900, 1950 and 2003. The internet just publicizes the and facilitates the common spread of more degenerate ways to waste ones mind.

In 1850 the buyers of that game would be the first in the line of the hanging or in 1770 the ones who liked to get the best throws in at the stoning. In 1380 they were the one's who shouted "burn! burn!" as the "heretics" were burned at the stake.

One feels that in this modern, somewhat sanitized world these things should be diminished. The internet and the computer is the great equalizer which has brought TV's mass violence into a first person pastime and makes everyone aware of all the inequities, perversions of many other planetary dwellers.

Don't let it bring you down. Now that hangings, burnings and stonings are scarce - these same folks need their violence "fix".

In an infinite universe of energy - you ALWAYS have the proverbial "battle of Armageddon" occurring between good (+) and evil (-). This battle is being waged daily by each individual as they make their own decisions. When you choose the lesser of evils - you make headway and progress. When someone succumbs to the lower forces - they take a retrograde movement.

The road to a very real personal hell (not the religionist's "hell") is a slow and gradual series of retrograde motions. Likewise the road to a personal elevated mental and "spiritual" position is made by a slow and gradual series of progressive actions.

Pointing out the depravity of a particularly violent game is a small progressive motion. No need to outlaw it or censor it. Everyone has to make their own decisions. We can't save anyone but ourselves.
