Appeasement has never worked, and generous offers to allow yourself to be nuked in the name of peace are actually very impractical. Just as NK is treated differently than Iraq, and Afghnistan is treated differently than Pakistan, so should German/French and Belgian appeasement and complaceny be treated uniquely.
